Coyote Sighting

A coyote has reportedly been sighted by the greenbelt. 311 has been contacted. While all owners/residents should be vigilant with their children and pets, those owners/residents bordering the greenbelt should exercise extreme caution and report any sightings to the authorities first and then notify Stan afterward.
 
If you are bitten or attacked and emergency care is required, call 911
immediately. If you do not require emergency care, contact 311 and
file an incident report through the website below.

animal protection site at http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/health/animal_services_control.htm. The city number for coyote issues is 845-9613 but consider calling Austin Wildlife Rescue at 472-9453 if you see the animal and the animal seems like it is not a threat. Please do not feed the animal.
