Reminder of Rules Regarding Pets

The Board of Directors would like to remind all owners of the rules regarding pets and their owner's responsibility. There are very specific rules and they can be found at the community's website www.scofieldridgecondos.com under the Documents section entitled Regulartions.pdf. Specifically, the Board would like to call all Owner's attention to Section V, General Use and Maintenance, Section 3 Declaration Restrictions, Item G: Animals - Household Pets:
"No animals, including pigs, hogs, swine, poultry, fowl, wild animals, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, or any other type of animal not considered to be a domestic household pet within the ordinary meaning and interpretation of such words may be kept, maintained, or cared for on the Regime. No Owner may keep within such Owner's unit or Common Elements appurtenant thereto, more than two (2) cats and dogs, in the aggregate. No animal shall be allowed to make an unreasonable amount noise, or to become a nuisance, and no domestic pets shall be allowed on the Regime unless confined to a leash. No animal may be stabled, maintained, kept, cared for, or boarded for hire or renumeration on the Regime, and no kennels or breeding operation will be allowed. No animal will be allowed to run at large with the Regime."
For clarity purposes, Regime is defined as a regulated system or area.
Please be certain that if you own pets, that you adhere to the rules stipulated for the community and keep your pet(s) confined on a leash at all times when the pet is on/in the Common Elements or Areas. The property manageris responsible for enforcement, which can include additional assessment for failure to comply. If you have any questions concerning this rule, please feel free to inquire with the property manager.
Pet owners are also reminded that they are also to pick up after their pets and there are receptacles located around the community for this purpose.
